Somewhere between bus stop #10 and the port I came across the parish church of St. Sophia - Agia Sophia. The church had seen some hard times, but now it was being restored. The interior of the church must have been magnificent once and it was being put back to the best of the abilities of the work crews. The workmanship was wonderful.
